Every once in a while, something happens that makes us stop, smile, and feel profoundly grateful for the work we get to do. Seeing Larisa Brechun featured in American Art Collector is absolutely one of those moments.
We are beyond excited—and honestly, over the moon proud—to celebrate Larisa’s recent recognition, especially as it comes during her debut exhibition with us, Welcome Home: Larisa Brechun, on view from December 1 through January 23, 2026.
There are moments in the life of a gallery when an artist arrives whose work feels so naturally aligned with its heart and spirit that it feels less like an introduction and more like a return. Larisa is exactly that kind of artist. From the first time we encountered her work, it carried a quiet gravity—paintings that don’t ask for attention, but gently and confidently hold it.

Her work is grounded not in self-disclosure, but in stillness, restraint, and emotional clarity. Each painting feels like a private reflection, generously shared—a place where light, texture, and feeling speak louder than words. The article in AAC highlights all of these moments and includes so great quotes that feel authentic.
That quiet power is precisely what makes Larisa’s work resonate so deeply—and what makes her feature in American Art Collector feel so right. Her paintings don’t chase trends or spectacle. Instead, they reward patience. They invite you to slow down, to look longer, and to feel more. She works from her home studio, surrounded by her dogs and cats, and approaches her practice with humility and sincerity.

“I don’t really enjoy being the center of attention or talking about myself much,” Larisa shares. “My goal has never been to be popular or a ‘big’ artist. I just want to make paintings that make me happy—and it’s been wonderful to see that they resonate with others, too.”
The small body of new paintings that we have displayed these past two months beautifully demonstrate her mastery of atmosphere, illumination, and emotional restraint. The work speaks softly, but it stays with you—reminding us of the beauty found in quiet moments, and the joy of discovering exactly where you belong. It's been wonderful to watch people really lean into them.

We couldn’t be prouder to welcome Larisa to the gallery family, and we’re thrilled to see her work receiving the attention it so deeply deserves. Please go grab a copy of AAC and pop in to see her paintings, we plan on having new work for years to come.
